The Green 50 List, New Zealand’s first directory of companies providing products and services that improve the environment, has just been launched by strategic research company New River. With a ranking of 5th place, EROAD was the highest placed transport technology company in the list.
The Green 50 List is the first of its kind in New Zealand and was developed from in-depth research in each of the 54 sectors of the economy. Over 150 companies that have a product, service or technology to improve the environment were included and ranked using a methodology that considered business composition, revenue and growth rate.
EROAD CEO Steven Newman says the company is delighted with the recognition and believes it is time for the transport sector to be recognised for the energy conservation effort that is being made throughout the industry. “EROAD’s position on the Green List is the result of our innovative EZfuel technology that seamlessly and securely extracts fuel data from the forecourt and uses the Ehubo to generate accurate fuel consumption data and driver performance feedback.”
