One of EROAD’s independent, non-executive directors has resigned from its board.
Sean Keane says his resignation, effective immediately, is for personal reasons and is one of a number of commercial commitments he is relinquishing at this time.
Mr Keane says he has enjoyed his time on the board of EROAD, he remains a supportive shareholder in the company and is excited about EROAD’s future.
“I wish my fellow and future directors, and the team at EROAD, a productive future,” he said.
EROAD chairman Michael Bushby says the board is sorry to lose Mr Keane, but understands his decision, and is grateful for many years of dedicated service to the company.
“Sean has made a very significant contribution around the board table, including as the chair of the Finance, Risk and Audit Committee and during the period where the company was listed on the NZX. His skills and experience will be missed” said Mr Bushby.
Mr Keane enjoyed an international career as an investment banker with Credit Suisse before establishing Triple T Consulting, a financial markets commentary and advisory company of which he is Managing Director. He was appointed to EROAD’s board in February, 2013, and served on the board’s Finance, Risk and Audit Committee.
Mr Bushby said the company has commenced a process to select and appoint a new independent director.
