Driver behaviour’s a big issue for us. Since we installed Ehubos and Driver ID units in March, we’ve been able to get detailed reports on things like speed and fuel use in a matter of seconds, so we can identify where the problems lie and focus on driver training.
The units are more cost effective than a GPS, and we’re also seeing big savings on RUC. We’re claiming 2000-3000km a month in offroad travel now and buying RUC in 3000km lots rather than 10,000km, so we can spread the cost more evenly. And AutoRUC means we don’t have to supply labels to all our trucks every two weeks, and constantly check that they’re up to date.
