Beginning in December we will reduce the thresholds for harsh braking and sharp acceleration.
- Harsh braking and sharp acceleration can indicate erratic or aggressive driving, resulting from tailgating or failure to scan the road ahead, and which can lead to near misses, rollovers, or collisions.
- A heavy foot on the pedal increases fuel costs and contributes to wear and tear.
